Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department Overview

PREAMBLE:
Obstetrics, gynaecology, and infant care together provide comprehensive healthcare for women and newborns throughout pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and different stages of reproductive life. Obstetrics focuses on safe pregnancy and delivery, while gynaecology manages conditions related to the female reproductive system such as menstrual disorders, hormonal imbalance, infertility, PCOS, and menopause. Infant care ensures proper newborn nutrition, immunization, and healthy development.
