Department Overview

PREAMBLE:
Practice of Medicine with Homoeopathic Therapeutics emphasizes a holistic understanding of disease by studying the individual as a whole rather than isolated symptoms. It integrates clinical diagnosis, systemic pathology, and modern medical sciences with the principles of Homoeopathy, including individualization and miasmatic theory. The subject aims to develop rational homoeopathic therapeutics, focusing on constitutional factors, causation, prognosis, and lifestyle disorders, therebypromotingcomprehensive, patient-centred healing through classical homoeopathic practice.

OBJECTIVES:
The course aims to develop competent and compassionate homoeopathic clinicians capable of practicing effectively in diverse clinical settings. It emphasizes holistic patient evaluation by integrating clinical medicine with anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, and Homoeopathic principles. Students will gain skills in diagnosis, differential diagnosis, interpretation of investigations, prognosis, and rational management of diseases. The curriculum also focuses on preventive, curative, palliative, and rehabilitative care while correlating clinical conditions with Organon of Medicine, Homoeopathic Philosophy, Repertory, and Materia Medica to provide individualized and evidence-based homoeopathic treatment.
